The limited capacity of the Jersey Hospice to respond to the current needs of its patients and bereaved clients and that anticipated in the coming years has led to the decision to develop a new facility to meet the demands of the future.

Due to some unforeseen difficulties with the project, Rowney Sharman were approached and commissioned to undertake a strategic analysis of the existing project and provide a solution whereby the project could be revived to meet both cost and programme targets.

We undertook multiple roles on this attractive conversion and extension of an existing farmhouse and Coach House to form five high quality houses set in landscaped grounds.

Our role on this project was to manage the initial feasibility and cost report in support of the acquisition of the original building and surrounding land and to produce the Employer's Requirement document to enable the project to be competitively tendered as a Design & Build contract.

This project comprised the demolition of existing buildings, extensive enabling works consisting site levelling and building retaining structures and the construction and fit-out of 68 high quality apartments.
